This Midway homeowner wanted an outdoor space they'd actually use in the evenings — the yard had grass and not much else. We built a paver patio sized for a full outdoor seating area, with a built-in fire pit as the centerpiece.
Base depth and compaction were the priority here, since the whole point of a hardscape project is that it still looks right in five winters, not just on install day. The fire pit was built to code with proper clearance from the seating area.
